How long does the Amberly reed diffuser last?

Each Amberly reed diffuser provides approximately 3 to 6 months of continuous fragrance, depending on room size, temperature, and the number of reeds used. The large-format 480 ml reservoir and eight 45 cm premium fibre reeds are designed to keep scent consistent for months — not weeks. Using fewer reeds slows evaporation and extends the life; flipping the reeds weekly refreshes the scent throw.

Is the diffuser refillable?

Yes. The porcelain vessel refills with our 480 ml fragrance oil refills. Replace the oil and reeds to continue enjoying your Amberly diffuser without buying a new vessel — the refill system is designed so the porcelain shell is a long-term object, not a single-use bottle.

Reed diffuser vs candle — which lasts longer?

A candle burns for a weekend; one Amberly fill keeps a room in scent for months. Because a diffuser has no flame and no plug, it works quietly and continuously — typically at a lower cost per day than a candle. The 480 ml of slow-evaporating oil and eight 45 cm reeds deliver consistent fragrance for 3 to 6 months.

Are reed diffusers safe?

Yes. Reed diffusers are flameless and plug-free, so they are safe to leave running in most rooms — including open-plan living areas — provided they are kept out of reach of children and pets, and away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

How do I get the most from my reed diffuser?

Place it in a room with gentle airflow, away from direct sunlight and air-conditioning vents. Use all eight reeds for a stronger scent throw, or remove a few for a subtler presence. Flip the reeds once a week to refresh the fragrance. To refill, remove the old reeds, pour in fresh oil, and insert the new reeds — the ritual takes about a minute.
